This Privacy Policy explains how Lingua Habit ("Lingua Habit", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects personal data when you use our website (linguahabit.com) and the Lingua Habit Accelerator Platform. We are committed to handling your personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Irish Data Protection Act 2018.

We collect data you provide directly - including name, professional email, job title, organisation, and sector - when you submit an enquiry form, book an assessment call, or register for a programme. We also collect data automatically when you visit our website, such as pages viewed, time on site, and referring source, through Google Analytics (with your consent).

For programme participants, we additionally collect performance data generated during training sessions, including session recordings (where consent is given), written exercises, and progress assessments.

3. How we use your data

We use your data to: respond to your enquiries and manage your programme enrolment; deliver the Lingua Habit Accelerator Programme and track participant progress; process payments securely via Stripe; improve our website and services using aggregated analytics data; and comply with our legal obligations.

We do not sell personal data to third parties. We do not use personal data for automated decision-making or profiling.

4. Legal basis for processing

We process data on the following legal bases: contract - to deliver the programme you have enrolled in; legitimate interests - to respond to enquiries and manage our business operations; consent - for analytics cookies and any optional communications; and legal obligation - where required by applicable law.

Enquiry data is retained for up to 24 months from last contact. Programme participant data is retained for the duration of the programme and up to 36 months thereafter for legitimate business purposes. Analytics data is retained in accordance with Google Analytics default settings. You may request deletion at any time.

Under GDPR you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; request erasure; restrict or object to processing; and data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at beatriz@linguahabit.com. We will respond within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission of Ireland at dataprotection.ie.
