Our dress code is similar to that of a university classroom or business selling. You're welcome to dress casually, but please be fully and respectfully clothed.

Practice in a Quiet Place

Make sure you use Lingua Habit in a quiet place, without excessive background noise. Also, ensure you select a place where you know you won't be interrupted by another person during your lesson.

Your Lingua Habit account is only for you.

Religion, Politics, or Other Controversial Subjects

Some tutor-student relationships are open and respectful enough to have fulfilling conversations about religion, politics, or other controversial topics while practicing English. However, if the conversation becomes negative or possibly offensive to either you or your tutor, please move to another topic. This goes for learners and tutors.

Always Ask for Permission Before Sharing Videos

Even after you say bye to your tutor and end the class or session, you can keep practicing and improving by re-watching your lesson recordings or our content library.

You can also share your learning experience on social media to help other students benefit from Lingua Habit too. However, before you share videos anywhere, please always ask your tutor for permission first. If a video is shared without permission, you will be asked to remove the video.

No Substance Use During Lessons

Drinking alcohol is prohibited during Lingua Habit lessons. And as Lingua Habit is a learning environment, please also avoid smoking, eating, or chewing gum.

No Sharing External Contact Info

For your privacy & safety as well as your tutor's, Lingua Habit asks you not to share external contact information (Facebook, Skype, Email, Whatsapp, Instagram, WeChat, etc.). The Lingua Habit messaging system is designed as an easy way to communicate safely.
