- These rates are offered to freelance instructors.
- Proof of registered self-employment is required, and we may also request documentation of up-to-date social security contributions.
- Rates are negotiable for instructors with sector-specific expertise (e.g., English for IT, Real Estate, etc.).
- The rates listed apply to live online videoconferencing classes.
- For on-site 1-1 and group B2B classes in Madrid and Barcelona, higher rates are available, with travel time compensated.
- Uniform Compensation: The rate of pay for teachers remains consistent and is not influenced by factors such as location, nationality, passport, native language status, or accent.
Device Location Requirements
- Device Requirements: Teachers are expected to have access to a reliable computer or laptop capable of running necessary software for online classes.
- Internet Connectivity: A stable, high-speed internet connection is required to ensure smooth and uninterrupted class sessions - WiFi, DSL
- Lighting: Teachers should conduct classes in a well-lit environment to ensure clear visibility on camera.
- Background: A professional and uncluttered background is expected to maintain a focused and distraction-free learning environment.
- Noise Control: Teachers must ensure a quiet setting during classes to minimize background noise and enhance communication quality.
Recruitment
- We will launch a new recruitment campaign for adult ESL B2B teachers in September.

- Our recruitment process utilizes blind recruiting, and we employ software to anonymize CVs to ensure fair hiring practices.
- ESL teachers will be required to complete a brief language level assessment focused on teaching.
- Interviews will consist of a short teaching demonstration.
- We aim to automate most of our onboarding procedures to streamline the process.
- We provide comprehensive training, teaching materials, and ongoing support.
- For live, online classes, you will be expected to complete short, objective pre- and post-session online forms to verify attendance and session delivery.
Payment
- A contract outlining our freelance subcontractor relationship will need to be signed; we do not provide employment contracts.
- Payments are made via bank transfer at the end of each month.
- You are responsible for managing your own taxes.
